About PŌZEN

PŌZEN was created as a response to a common feeling many people have when walking into a yoga studio for the first time: pressure.

Pressure to keep up.
Pressure to already know what you’re doing.
Pressure to fit a version of yoga that doesn’t feel like you.
We wanted something else.

At PŌZEN, we believe movement should feel supportive, accessible, and grounded, instead of intimidating. Our studio is a calm, non-heated space designed to help you feel at ease from the moment you arrive.

a different kind of yoga studio

We do things a little differently here.

Classes are intentionally kept small so you’re never lost in a crowded room. You’re able to select your mat placement ahead of time, which removes a surprisingly big layer of first-time anxiety. Mats and props are always provided, and instructors guide classes with clarity, care, and options.

Classes are taught with thoughtful pacing and time to settle into each pose. The focus is on breath, awareness, and meeting your body where it is, rather than pushing or performing.

From the moment you arrive, things feel a little slower here.

You won’t be rushed into a room or asked to figure things out on your own. Your mat is reserved, props are set out for you, and our team is always nearby if you have a question.

You’re welcome to take breaks, modify, or rest whenever you need. There’s no expectation to keep up or move a certain way. Just space to arrive, breathe, and move with intention.

Movement That Feels Considered

Our classes range from gentle, restorative practices to more strength-focused offerings, but all are taught with the same underlying intention: move with awareness, not force.

You’ll be guided with clear cues, steady pacing, and time to understand what you’re doing and why. Options and modifications are always offered, and you’re encouraged to pause, rest, or adapt without explanation.

This is movement designed to support your body and nervous system, not override it.

More Than a Class

PŌZEN is more than a place to take a class. It’s a space to slow down, reconnect, and build a sustainable relationship with movement.

From our carefully curated studio environment to the way our team shows up for each person who walks through the door, every detail is designed with intention.

You don’t need to arrive feeling calm.
You don’t need to arrive feeling confident.
You just need to arrive as you are.

We’re glad you’re here

Whether you’re joining us for your first class or your hundredth, you’re welcome here.

If you ever have questions about which class might be right for you, our team is always happy to help.
